Clinics conducted by VOGs to educate pregnant mothers. Monitoring of blood pressure, weight, and overall health of the pregnant lady. Education on healthy pregnancy, nutrition, and lifestyle choices. Offering childbirth education classes to prepare expectant parents for labor and delivery. Counseling on breastfeeding techniques, infant care, and postpartum mental health.

Postpartum Care:

Monitoring the health of the mother after childbirth, including recovery from labor and delivery. Offering guidance on postpartum healing, physical activity, and emotional well-being. Addressing any concerns or complications that may arise after the baby’s birth.

Newborn Care:

Conducting newborn examinations to assess overall health and development. Providing vaccinations and immunizations as per the recommended schedule. Offering guidance on feeding, diapering, and general care for the newborn. Tracking the developmental milestones of infants and providing guidance if any concerns arise. Connecting families with local resources, support groups, and services related to parenting and childcare.

Breastfeeding Support:

Assisting new mothers with establishing and maintaining breastfeeding. Addressing common breastfeeding challenges and providing solutions. Providing information on proper latch, milk supply, and pumping.

Family Planning:

Offering information and options for birth control and family planning after childbirth. Discussing future pregnancies and providing advice on timing and contraception.

Emotional Support:

Offering emotional support and counseling for both mothers and fathers as they navigate the challenges of parenthood. Referring individuals to specialized mental health professionals when needed.

• Demonstration on breastfeeding positions, newborn bathing techniques, holding and burping techniques, umbilical cord care, injection site care, etc.

• Sexual well-being and supporting the partner.
• Exercises for expectant and postpartum mothers with demonstrations.
