Established in 1980, Asiri Hospitals PLC, operating under the brand Asiri Health, is Sri Lanka's premier private healthcare provider. Counting almost 4 decades of excellence in healthcare, Asiri Health is owned by the Softlogic Group.

Asiri Laboratories: Originating at Asiri Medical Hospital, Asiri Laboratories has expanded to over a 100 locations across Sri Lanka, conducting an average of 14,500 tests daily.

1980

Asiri Hospital Holdings PLC commenced its operations as a limited liability company, marking the inception of a journey committed to providing quality healthcare.

1984

The expansion of services was initiated, encompassing the addition of Outpatient (OPD) and Diagnostic services to further enhance the comprehensive healthcare offerings.

1986

A significant milestone was achieved with the establishment of the Nurses Training School (NTS), underscoring our dedication to the development and education of healthcare professionals.

1987

Introduction of Inpatient treatment was implemented, broadening the spectrum of medical care provided by Asiri Hospital Holdings PLC.

1991

A momentous achievement was realized with the listing of the company on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), reflecting its growth and prominence in the healthcare sector.

1995

Diagnostic services witnessed an expansion to Kandy, extending our reach and accessibility for communities in different regions.

2000

Asiri Surgical services were inaugurated, introducing specialized surgical care to meet the evolving healthcare needs.

2007

A significant expansion took place with the acquisition of ASHA Central and the subsequent opening of Asiri Hospital Matara, contributing to our growing network of healthcare facilities.

2010

Asiri Central Hospital was established, and the acquisition of Matara Medi House further solidified our commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare solutions.

2018

The strategic expansion included the acquisition of Hemas Hospital Galle and the associated chain of laboratories, along with the inauguration of Asiri AOI Cancer Centre (Pvt) Ltd, marking a proactive approach towards addressing diverse healthcare requirements.

2019

The establishment of Asiri Hospital Kandy, giving easier access to advanced healthcare services to the Central and Northern Provinces.

2021

The launch of the Asiri Nova IVF and Fertility Centre, catering to an increasing demand for subfertility treatment in the country.

2023

The launch of Asiri Academy of Health Sciences represented a pivotal moment in advancing medical education and training, further enriching the healthcare landscape with knowledgeable and skilled professionals
