Embark on a green journey with Asiri Health as we proudly unveil a momentous stride towards environmental sustainability. In a landmark collaboration, we have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the esteemed Centre for Sustainability at the University of Sri Jayawardenapura.
Our collective effort is centred around the restoration of a 1-acre expanse nestled within the Yagirala forest reserve, located in the scenic Walallawita, Kalutara District. Our core mission is to breathe life into degraded forest patches by reintroducing native trees. Currently, more than 100 acres of such habitats have been identified within the Yagirala forest.
Looking ahead, our vision extends to the year 2030, where we aspire to replace and restore habitats on a scale ten times the area acquired by Asiri Health. To realize this ambitious goal, we are committed to implementing tree planting projects across the entire island, with a specific focus on arid regions.
