Medicare National Healthcare Exhibition 2016
Asiri Health were the Platinum Sponsors of the Medicare National Healthcare Exhibition 2016, held recently at the BMICH.
Organised for the 7th consecutive year by the Ministry of Health, the exhibition offered health care providers and medical professionals an ideal platform to network and interact with the potential patient. They were able to offer timely and accurate information on health issues and the latest technology and services available for disease prevention, diagnosis and cure.
This year Asiri Health showcased some of their key Centres of Excellence such as the Asiri Heart Centers, Asiri Center for Neuro Sciences, Asiri Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, Asiri Stroke Unit, Asiri Bariatric Unit and Asiri Interventional Radiology.
The public were encouraged to view informative videos, and demonstration on common health issues. Visitors were able to participate in interactive sessions related to heart functions, stroke symptoms and how the brain and nerves work in the human body.
Asiri medical staff conducted free tests for blood sugar, and body mass index (BMI), and this was followed up by a doctor who gave free advice to the visitors based on their test results.
The exhibition was held on the 4th, 5th, 6th of March at the BMICH and drew large numbers of visitors.
